US Model 1910 canteen, used during the First World War.
Aluminum canteen fitted with its metal cap with a knurled surface, as well as its original chain. No manufacturer’s mark or date is visible on the canteen, which is very common on early production examples.
It is accompanied by its manufacturer-marked and 1917-dated cover, complete with its belt attachment hook. For insulation purposes, the inside of the cover was padded with gray wool.
Condition: Fairly good overall condition.
