Model 1915 Adrian Infantry Helmet, Reconditioned in 1940

Model 1915 infantry/cavalry front badge.

Second-pattern brown leather liner with six leather tongues.

The helmet retains its four original adjustment wavy aluminum strips, fitted between the liner and the shell.

Original riveted goatskin leather chinstrap.

Repainted in khaki during the 1940 refurbishment, the original horizon blue paint remains clearly visible in places beneath the khaki overpaint.
