Very fine pair of officer’s cavalry pistols, Model 1816/22, converted to percussion.

Lockplates marked “Mre Rle de St Etienne” (Royal Manufactory of Saint-Étienne).

Barrels with five flats then round.

Both barrels are marked on the left flat with the year 1823.

Sliding breech system.

Fine brass mounts with a rich coppery patina.

The pistols retain their whalebone ramrods with brass tips.

Checkered walnut stocks.

Perfect functioning at both half-cock and full-cock positions.

Overall length: 33.5 cm.

Barrel length: 19.9 cm.

Pistols in very good condition.
