160,00

Original WWII U.S. M1905/42 bayonet in its long-pattern configuration, intended for use with the M1 Garand rifle.

The M1905/42 bayonets represent the final production of the long 16-inch bayonets, manufactured between April 1942 and May 1943, just before they were replaced by the shortened M1 bayonet.

This example was manufactured by PAL Blade & Tool Co. The markings PAL / U.S. / flaming bomb / 1942 are all clearly visible. It retains its original black grooved Bakelite grip panels.

The bayonet is accompanied by its original long M3 scabbard.

Condition: Fair. The locking mechanism is missing. The metal fittings of the scabbard show heavy oxidation, as visible in the photographs.
