US FM BAR Ammo Belt 1918

US Army BAR belt from World War I.
Made of heavy OD3 canvas, this model includes four pouches for BAR magazines as well as one pouch for Colt M1911 magazines.
Both parts of the belt are marked by the manufacturer Long and dated June 1918. The belt marking itself is almost illegible, though the year 1918 can still be distinguished.
Metal hardware and fully functional snap fasteners.
The belt is fitted with its metal cup (“hip rest”) designed to stabilize the BAR for hip firing, mounted on a brown leather reinforcement.
