Beautiful troop kepi, Model 1935, of the 8th Hussars Regiment.
Crown made of garance (red) wool cloth, light blue band. Regimental kepi marked “8th Huss.”
Leather sliding chinstrap, round buttons. Leather visor, size 2.
Reception stamp difficult to read but seems to indicate the year 1938.
Manufacturer’s marking: La Chapelière Parisienne, Paris, size 58. Stamp from the costumier Faucheux in Angers.
Regimental number sewn in garance cloth on the front of the kepi.
Condition: Overall good condition, with wear on the sweatband.
