Pair of french percussion cap pistols with box-lock mechanism, dating from around 1840 / 1850, fitted with screw-off barrels.

Barrels made of finely engraved Damascus steel, locks decorated with leafy motifs.

Each pistol is equipped with a retractable (folding) trigger, typical of pocket models designed for discretion and close-range defense, providing secure handling.

Marked with a “BC” proof mark, likely attributed to a French gunsmith.

Overall length of each pistol: 13.2 cm.

Condition: Good overall condition. One screw head is damaged, as visible in the photos.
