French Senior Officer’s Court Sword, Restoration Period

Senior Officer’s court sword from the Restoration period (1815-1830), featuring a silvered bronze hilt.
The guard is a single-branch design, finely chiseled, with a pommel shaped like a scroll.
The grip is made of wood, covered with mother-of-pearl plates in good overall condition.
The handle’s knuckle guard is adorned with a series of fleurs-de-lis.
The guard plate displays the Great Arms of France.
The triangular blade with three hollow faces is partially gilded and blued on the upper third. It has a defect near the tip, as visible in the photos. The blade is marked with a “W” at the ricasso, indicating Weyersberg of Solingen.
The sword is sold without a scabbard.
