RAF Flight Sergeant Rank Crowns, WWII

Pair of brass rank insignia for RAF Flight Sergeants, dating from the Second World War.

These crowns were worn on the sleeves, positioned above the Sergeant stripes. They were fitted to both the four-pocket Other Ranks tunic and the Battledress blouse, and were used by both aircrew and ground personnel.

The pair is in good overall condition and remains complete with its original rear fittings, including pins and backing plates.
