A fine set comprising a Vaterländischer Frauenverein (Patriotic Women’s Association) badge accompanied by a rare named membership card dated 1919, issued to Anna Rische, residing in Kassel.
The badge, intended for members of the Vaterländischer Frauenverein, features a Red Cross at the centre and the inscription “Für treue Dienste” (“For faithful service”).
The membership card bears the inscription “Vaterländischer Frauen-Verein Kassel” and also served as a receipt for the annual membership fee of 10 Marks. It was printed by Gebr. Gotthelft, Cassel, a well-known local printing house of the period.
