German GM30 Gas Mask, WWII

German Gasmaske 30 (GM30) gas mask from the Second World War with its original metal carrying canister.

Field-grey canister marked HALLER 1940, retaining its original paint. Nice period patina with signs of use and light surface oxidation.

Complete mask, size 1, with all original straps present. Visible manufacturer markings, including maker code “byd”, as well as a Waffenamt acceptance stamp. Original lenses dated 1936, with markings still legible.

Condition: Good overall condition; restored filter.
