British Regulation Machete, 1943

British Second World War machete with its original heavy-duty brown leather scabbard in excellent condition, with its original stitching and rivets still in place. Scabbard manufactured by Papworth Industries and dated 1944. Presence of a broad arrow.

The blade, produced by J. & J. BEAL Ltd (Sheffield), measures 37.5 cm in length and is dated 1943.

The handle scales of the machete also bear a broad arrow.

Total length of the machete: 50.5 cm.

Condition: Matching set in very good condition.
