Knight’s cross of the Legion of Honour from the July Monarchy period.
The star, composed of five double rays with ball finials, is surrounded by oak and laurel leaves enameled in light green. Minor chips visible on the white enamel at the tips of the rays.
The obverse center features the right-facing profile of Henry IV.
The reverse center is decorated with two enameled French flags and the inscription “HONNEUR ET PATRIE”.
The crown is composed of eight branches adorned with balls and trefoil leaves.
The insignia is accompanied by a moiré ribbon.
