Knight’s Cross of the Legion of Honour, Presidential Period (1851-1852).

Silver star (hallmarked) covered with white enamel.

On the obverse, the profile effigy of Emperor Napoleon I is depicted, with the inscription “Napoléon Emp. des Français” within a blue enamelled listel.

The reverse features an imperial eagle, head turned to the right, surrounded by the motto “Honneur et Patrie.”

The suspension consists of a movable imperial crown with eight arches, surmounted by fleurons and globes, and topped with a summit cross.

Condition: Average condition, with losses to the enamel.
