The obverse of the medal features a relief German eagle clutching a swastika, while the reverse bears the inscription:
“Winterschlacht Im Osten 1941/42” (“Winter Battle in the East 1941/42”).
The manufacturer’s mark on the ring is difficult to read, but it appears to be “108” (Arno Wallpach, Salzburg, Austria).
Condition: Good overall condition, with a nice patina.
