WWII German Wooden Box for Detonators

Transport box (empty) for 13 detonators, most likely intended for Stielhandgranate M24 grenades.

The wooden box is clad in sheet metal.

This example has a lid without any inscription, but it is supplied with a second lid bearing remnants of an inscription.
