WW2 Era Pair of Royal Navy Commander Shoulder Boards

A pair of Royal Navy shoulder boards, used circa 1930–1953, possibly from the Second World War.

Made of gold lace with the traditional loop or “executive curl” on a navy-blue background,  with King’s Crown buttons.

Manufacturer: Gieves Limited.

Condition: fairly good, with some moth nibbles on one epaulette and one missing retaining pin for a button, as shown in the photos.
