Good-luck Japanese flag (Hinomaru Yosegaki) made of artificial silk, presented to Nakatsu Shoushichi, a Kendo master (Sensei).

The inscription on the left side reads: “Presented to Nakatsu Shoushichi,” while the one on the right wishes: “May your military fortune be everlasting.”

The remaining inscriptions are the signatures of his dojo students.

The corner cords used to attach the flag to a pole or rifle are still present.

Dimensions: approximately 86 × 70 cm

Condition:  good, with some very small snags visible in the photos.
