Rare original Alter Art Artillery Officer cap from the German Wehrmacht army, World War II.
In very good condition, this German Alter Art cap, made of wool, features:
– Red piping specific to artillery
– A flexible leather visor
– Two original zinc insignias: one being a cockade and the other one an eagle with the emblematic cross of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP) below
– High-quality orange satin lining showcasing professional tailoring with an unreadable hexagonal stamp

The cap has the typical “crusher” shape of the Alter Art, and the visor has never had a chinstrap, as evidenced by the absence of buttons on the sides.
