Complete US Bronze Star  in its original case with ribbon and boutonniere. WWII period award made by US Mint & Rex in 1945 (according to the “brooch” model in “lock Catch” corresponding to this manufacturer). Set in very good condition.

This military decoration, awarded to members of the United States armed forces for heroic or meritorious deeds, or for service rendered in a combat zone, was introduced in 1944 (retroactive to December 6, 1941).
