German Helmet Model 1916

WWI German Stahlhelm.

Model 1916 liner with first-type leather band. Two leather “teeth” missing. Cushion pads missing.

Original chinstrap shows a minor weakness at the attachment point (defect visible in the last photo).

Manufacturer marking and size: ET66 (Eisenhüttenwerk Thale, 57.5 cm to 60 cm).

Shell heavily rusted, can be cleaned or left as-is.

Due to rust, the chinstrap buckles are immobile (requires cleaning/oiling).

Condition: fair, it retains its rare original chinstrap and its liner.
