Order of the Legion of Honour at the rank of Knight.
This star is made of silver and enamel, with gold central medallions. It bears the wild boar’s head hallmark, certifying a silver content of 800/1000.
On the obverse, the profile effigy of Emperor Napoleon I is surrounded by the inscription “Napoléon Empereur des Français”.
The reverse features the imperial eagle, encircled by the motto “Honneur et Patrie”.
The suspension ring is shaped like a crown and is beautifully decorated with eagles on each beaded arch.
With original ribbon.
Condition: Good condition. Some minor enamel chips on certain white tips, with one slightly bent tip.
