French regulation pistol, Model 1822, converted to percussion (so-called Model 1822T), manufactured at the Royal Manufactory of Maubeuge.

The lock plate bears the manufactory marking, and the barrel is dated 1824, with additional markings (C.1,6).

The breech tang is stamped with the letter “T”, indicating the official conversion from flintlock to percussion, characteristic of modifications carried out in the 1830s–1840s.

The round barrel with an octagonal section at the breech, made of steel, shows a fine, even period patina.

Walnut stock in good condition.

Trigger guard with inspection mark.

Metal fittings display several proof marks.

The firearm is complete with its original ramrod, and the mechanism functions correctly.
