Barrel marked  with the year 1821 and the serial number 624.

Tang marked “Mle 1822 T Bis”.

Percussion lock signed Manufacture Royale de Saint-Étienne (Royal Manufactory of Saint-Étienne).

Walnut stock with the same serial number as the barrel.

Brass fittings with various proof marks, including the “H” mark.

Steel butt cap with ring and steel ramrod.

Caliber: 17.7 mm.

Total length: 35.5 cm / 13.98 inches.

Period: Second Empire.

Condition: Good state of preservation. Some traces of old corrosion. Nice patina.
