Very fine French cavalry officer’s pistol, model 1816/22, converted to percussion.

Lockplate marked “Mre Rle de St Etienne” (Royal Manufactory of Saint-Étienne).

Barrel features five flat sides transitioning to round.

The barrel is marked on the right flat with the year 1823.

Fitted with a sliding mounting system.

Beautiful brass fittings with a rich coppery tone.

The pistol retains its fanon ramrod with a brass tip.

Walnut stock with checkered grip.

Total length of the pistol: 33.5 cm.

Barrel length: 19.9 cm.

Pistol in excellent condition.
