French Bourbon Restoration light cavalry saber, model 1816

Light cavalry saber, model 1816, in excellent condition. Brass hilt with an oval guard and pommel, main knuckle with three guard branches, the main one being numbered « 1133 ». Wooden grip covered in leather with gilded filigree. Curved blade with a spine marked « Manufacture du Klingenthal May 1821 ». Iron scabbard with two suspension rings, one engraved with the same number as the saber. Blade cleaned,with remaining inspector Lobesein’s stamp.
