Battledress Blouse du mod\u00e8le 1940, dat\u00e9e 1944, d\u2019un Major du R\u00e9giment Irlandais Royal Ulster Rifles.<\/p>\n

En laine de serge marron, elle poss\u00e8de tous ses boutons estampill\u00e9s de l’insigne Royal Ulster Rifles. Les r\u00e9giments de fusiliers (britanniques et irlandais) avaient pour habitude de remplacer les boutons classiques de Battledress Blouse par leurs propres boutons noirs, au motif r\u00e9gimentaire.<\/p>\n

Grades de \u00ab\u00a0Sergeant Major\u00a0\u00bb en cannetille sur fond rouge cousus au niveau des pattes d’\u00e9paules.<\/p>\n

Int\u00e9rieur doubl\u00e9 en tissu coton beige.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019\u00e9tiquette du fabricant S Simpson Ltd, dat\u00e9e 1944. Taille 12.<\/p>\n

Etat\u00a0:<\/strong> Usure au niveau du col, quelques traces discr\u00e8tes de mites. Bon \u00e9tat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

Le 2e Bataillon du Royal Ulster Rifles d\u00e9barque en Normandie \u00e0 midi le 06 juin 1944, sur Sword Beach (plage Queen Red), \u00e0 l\u2019ouest d\u2019Ouistreham.<\/em><\/p>\n

Le 1er Bataillon, quant \u00e0 lui, atterrit en planeur dans la soir\u00e9e, sur la zone d\u2019atterrissage N, pr\u00e8s de Ranville, et est d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 pour \u00e9tendre le secteur sud de la t\u00eate de pont.<\/em><\/p>\n
