Petit lot de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e D\u2019Afrique compos\u00e9 des \u00e9paulettes d\u2019un Commandant Spahis et d\u2019une patte de manche du 3 \u00e8me R\u00e9giment de Spahis. Ensemble en tr\u00e8s bon \u00e9tat.<\/p>\n

Les spahis sont des unit\u00e9s de cavalerie l\u00e9g\u00e8res issues des r\u00e9giments de l’arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise, principalement compos\u00e9es de soldats originaires d’Afrique du Nord. Leur histoire remonte \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode de la colonisation fran\u00e7aise en Alg\u00e9rie, au d\u00e9but du XIXe si\u00e8cle. Inspir\u00e9e des troupes de cavalerie indig\u00e8ne de l\u2019Empire ottoman, cette unit\u00e9 est officiellement cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1831 pour s’int\u00e9grer \u00e0 l’arm\u00e9e coloniale fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n

Les spahis \u00e9taient initialement recrut\u00e9s parmi les cavaliers arabes et berb\u00e8res en Alg\u00e9rie, mais leur recrutement s\u2019est ensuite \u00e9tendu \u00e0 d’autres r\u00e9gions comme la Tunisie et le Maroc. Ils \u00e9taient connus pour leur connaissance du terrain dans les conflits locaux. Pendant la Premi\u00e8re et la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les spahis ont combattu aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des troupes fran\u00e7aises, jouant un r\u00f4le important gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur mobilit\u00e9 et leur expertise en reconnaissance.<\/p>\n

Leur uniforme distinctif, notamment leur cape et leur turban, est rest\u00e9 un symbole iconique de l’unit\u00e9. Aujourd’hui, les spahis existent encore dans l’arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise sous la forme du 1er r\u00e9giment de spahis, qui est une unit\u00e9 blind\u00e9e bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Valence, France. Bien que modernis\u00e9s, ils continuent de perp\u00e9tuer les traditions de cette cavalerie d’\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n
