La pochette porte un superbe marquage \u00ab J.Q.M.D. 1942 \u00bb, indiquant une fabrication en 1942 par le Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Elle est confectionn\u00e9e en toile OD#3, avec sa fermeture caract\u00e9ristique \u00e0 deux boutons-pression.<\/p>\n
Les deux boutons-pression sont parfaitement fonctionnels, et le crochet de fixation au ceinturon d\u2019origine est pr\u00e9sent au dos.<\/p>\n
La pochette conserve son pansement Carlisle Model de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, avec son bo\u00eetier m\u00e9tallique d\u2019origine et ses marquages d\u2019\u00e9poque, notamment l\u2019inscription \u00ab Crystalline Sulfanilamide \u00bb.<\/p>\n
Un marquage \u00e0 l\u2019encre est encore visible au dos de la pochette, semblant correspondre aux restes de \u00ab CS \u00bb pour \u00ab Combat Serviceable \u00bb, un d\u00e9tail int\u00e9ressant t\u00e9moignant de son utilisation militaire.<\/p>\n
