Available, contact us

M1915 Adrian helmet featuring its typical “mustard” paint used by the African troops.

Front insignia in the shape of a crescent (flat model) of the French Army of Africa, introduced in August 1915. The crescent, painted in red, follows the tradition of the Zouave regiments. The center of the insignia is painted green, which is likely a personal touch by the soldier, possibly to display the symbolic color of Islam.

The liner is made of black leather (first type), with seven wolf teeth, manufactured exclusively in 1915.

The helmet features four adjustment wavy aluminum strips placed against the hull.

Its chinstrap is made of braided leather with four straps.

The turban  (located at the back of the sweatband) is of bluish iron-grey color (gris de fer bleuté).

Helmet conforms to the 1915-1918 standard.

Condition: Fairly good state of preservation.
