USM3 Combat Knife, World War II

499,00

US M3 combat knife with blade marking without a date (production between September and November 1943), manufactured by IMPERIAL.

The crossguard has a double quillon, one of which is bent forward to allow thumb support.

Ordnance Department control stamp “Flaming Bomb” on the pommel (stamp is somewhat faded but still visible).

The handle shows some signs of wear with minor tears in the rings but remains in generally good condition.

The knife comes with its USM8 second type scabbard, pre-May 1944 (before the USM8A1 marking), made by B.M. Co. (Beckwith Manufacturing Company).

The scabbard’s webbing is in good condition, and the snap button is functional. The double hook of the webbing has been replaced by a cord to attach the knife to the leg.

A collectible piece in its original condition!

Small defect on the blade visible in the photos.

Good overall condition.
